We adopted a stray cat who was living under our deck in March. When we took her to the vet for her shots, we found out she was pregnant. We already kinda suspected because as soon as we started feeding her she got fat....but anyhow, 5 weeks later, we had 5 new little black fluff-balls (ME (Emmy), LE (Ellie), KT (Katie), Quazi, and Clark). Here are their pictures:

This is one of the first photos of the kittens with their eyes open (about 2 weeks old).

Here the kittens are all sleeping on Shawn. They're about 3 weeks old.

Chow Time! (About 4 weeks old)--IV (Ivy) is showing the kittens how to eat real food.

We had to take the kittens to the vet for their first shots, so we decided to let them wander around outside for a little while afterwards (6 weeks old).
Photos from later the same night. All the kittens were sleeping in the chair.

Quazi enjoys hiding in empty lunch sacks and watching the toilet flush (8 weeks). By the way, Quazi was so tiny when we put a collar on him (to tell the difference between him and Clark), that we had to get him a chihuahua collar.

Last picture of the boys together. Quazi in the blue collar and Clark (now Dozer). about 8 weeks

Here's a side by side comparison of how much a kitten grows in 4 weeks. On the left is IV and Quazi when he is about 3 months old, on the right, he is 4 months old. In both pictures, IV is the one with a collar.

Both the boys had snagleteeth on their upper fangs. Of course the baby teeth fell out the day Katina took Quazi to the vet to have them looked at. (about 5 months)

Both IV and Quazi enjoy being outside...a lot. IV rarely leaves the back yard even though she obviously knows how (she was, afterall, a stray), and Quazi usually spends about 10 minutes in the backyard before deciding to go climb a neighbor's tree. (7 months)

Here are some pictures of LE (now Cindy). Cindy was adopted by two of Katina's co-workers. In the picture on the left, she is sleeping with her "babysitter", Bob. On the right she is hiding under the piano (obviously). Her favorite hobbies include watching Susan from on top of the cabinets in the kitchen, sleeping by Susan's head at night, and attacking feet under the covers. She also as an acute fear of the big, bad outdoors. She is perfectly content being an indoor kitty. (photos taken by Jonathan and Susan. Cindy is about 8 months old)
Here are some pictures of KT (now Mika). She hangs out with Moco all day long. Moco is the Big Black and White and Mika is the little black ball. Mika was adopted by Amy (Amy was a coworker--she moved on to teach math a few weeks after I started). I think these photos were taken in December 05 sometime. When Amy emailed the photos she said that Mika weighed a whopping 6.5 pounds. Makes Quazi seem huge at about 11 pounds.
Finally! Pictures of Ross's cats--Dozer and Pip. Pip is the Orange and Black, and Dozer is the Black one. Ross would like everyone to know that he did NOT put Dozer under the blanket--he did that to himself. (Pictures taken when Dozer was about 11 months).
2 pictures of Quazi--one of him in the tree in our backyard and one of him hiding in the groundcover watching some birds. (both taken in April (almost a year old).
